The Adventure Continues!

Now we are looking ahead to the next chapter of our Community Development Internship, spending 4 months in Costa Rica (Aug 11-Dec 8). We will spend the first 5 weeks in Heredia and we are excited about learning more in the area of agriculture and other practical technologies, for use in rural communities. After that we spend a week or so in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, connecting with the other community development students at the YWAM base there. We will come together to pray, seek God for strategies and plan for our time in Bambu (southern Costa Rica). We look forward to applying what we have learned over the last few months, investing in a community and working along side of others who want to see transformation come to Bambu and other places in Costa Rica.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us and supporting us during this time of learning and growing. Our Internship expenses (travel, food and accommodation) for the next 4 months comes to $4000 of which we already have had people give $1500 towards. If you are interested in partnering with us financially during our internship in Costa Rica, you will still be able to send your tax deductible gifts to YWAM San Diego Baja (info here) until the end of the year, all of which will go towards covering our internship costs.
