Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We just celebrated Thanksgiving here in the US and we have so much to be thankful for - not just the joy of our wee baby on the way! We also appreciate the blessing of family and friends all over the world and most of all, a great God who loves us deeply and is watching over us in so many ways.

We are having a great time here in the US catching up with everyone, enjoying quality time in the holiday season and keeping ourselves busy with various projects. Tim spent most of October and some of November working out at his uncle’s farm with the sugar beet harvest. Tim really enjoys working with his uncle, driving beet truck and being part of a Cunningham family tradition. He is also helping his uncle and parents with mechanical and handy man work and is hoping to pick up some more work of that nature to keep him busy through the winter (Boise folks – let us know if you need a handy man!).

In the meantime, Eliza has been working part-time with the RescueNet communications team, helping create and launch a newsletter for the members of RescueNet International to help the teams stay connected and up to date. She also assists with other projects for the team and hopes to continue to serve them however she can. Other than that she is getting rather housewife-y doing what she can to prepare for the season of motherhood ahead and working on fun sewing projects for the baby! Eliza recently received approval to complete her internship part-time here in Boise and is now working out the details of what this will look like and how she can serve people in the community and partner with our local church over the next two months.
The baby is progressing well and growing bigger everyday – now 20 weeks! This week Eliza felt the baby kick for the first time! We are now at 20 weeks aka half way. It's the length of a banana, is 10in/25.5cm from head to heel and weighs about an 10.5oz/300gr. We are blessed to have found a wonderful midwife who will cover us over the next few months and help us with check-ups and other tests. We are excited about this new chapter ahead of us, figuring out how to be a family in ministry, learning how to be good parents and serve the community God has us in. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Rom 8:28) Love and peace,
Tim, Eliza and Bub
